Bicycle storage

There are currently three bicycle storage units on the estate, each with space for ten bikes. Many residents report having been on the waiting list for a number of years. There are complaints from users about the quality and security of the units.

Southern Housing have confirmed they are looking into potential funding in this area but it seems this has become low priority.

However, it’s an evergreen topic that comes up again and again, with many residents struggling to store their bicycles at home.

This is a good example of the type of issue that could benefit from community collaboration.
