Review of last meeting and updates
Review of meeting with Lisa Worth
Paulina discussed new structure for SH with home ownership and home services
Walkabout - South Towerblock
TV arials - are these charged? Maintained? Currently in poor state (cables)
Rust on entry doors (same for North Towerblock)
Costs
Water charges - is the broken water tap included in this - what’s the breakdown of the costs?
Insurance - more than doubled over last year - why what’s the justification >> 134 (2019), 158 (2020), 185 (2021), 412 (2022)
Fly tipping - how much does the estate pay for this given it’s mostly off-estate offenders
Cleanliness
Boiler House Parties - mostly after weekend, rubbish having to be cleared by estate teams taking up time and effort away from estate duties, on estate in general, play area and basketball court. Noise and other impacts on estate
Food / nappies being thrown from 1st floor and potentially other flat in North Tower block - need to identify flat number so additional action can be taken
Spitting in lift (North Tower block)
Gardening
Hedges getting bigger (note this has been done post 24.04) but what schedule is this on, how often?
Bushes outside front of North Tower block seems to be less frequent, rubbish specifically
Notice board - better visibility of jobs list (current and ongoing)
Sand on estate - still seems to be there
Lighting
Still a problem on estate, very erratic.
Misc
Pillar on one side of car part entrance loose, looks likely to topple
Further discussion of Gates on entrance of estate, some pro, but concerns around deliveries, opening / locking times, responsibilities, cost
CCTV - dummy / recorded vs live all discussed, would like to continue discussing options
Tenants - white goods, responsibility depends on agreement but generally it’s tenants for upkeep of white goods, but can depend.
Illegal parking on estate - becoming a problem - very aggressive
